When the app first opens, start by adding a season by pressing the down arrow in the upper right part of the screen. The menu will give you three options Add Season, Settings, or App Help. Settings will enable you to save the email addresses of where you want to send the stats. App Help will link you to the user guide and let you email app support at support@buildbytetech.com if you ever have any questions.

By pressing the Add Season button, you will be able to add a season. See Figure 1. The user can input a season title, team name, and notes.  The Goalie Stat Option 1, Goalie Stat Option 2, and Goalie Stat Option 3 inputs allow a user to pick three additional goalie statistics that they want to track.  The Non-Goalie Stat Option 1, Non-Goalie Stat Option 2, Non-Goalie Stat Option 3 inputs allow a user to pick three additional non-goalie statistics that they want to track. Selecting the Record Statistics for Both Teams check box will enable the user to track stats for players on both teams.

Next you will add the teams that are part of the league. You will need to have at least two teams before a game can be created. See Figure 2.

Figure 2: Adding a Team

After the teams are added, add the players to each team. See Figure 3. You can add the player name, cap/jersey number, whether the player is a goalie or not, and whether the player should be displayed in the game or hidden.

Figure 3: Adding a Player

Once there are at least two teams added, a game can be created. Add a game by pressing the down arrow in the upper right part of the screen in the game list. See Figure 4. Choose the teams that are part of the game from the drop down menu in the Add Game screen. Pressing the date button will automatically add today’s date. Pressing the location button will automatically add the city of the user’s current location. Next the user can select the amount of timeouts in the game, the number of periods in the game, and the period length. The user can also enable or disable overtime with the checkbox, choose the number of overtime periods, and the length of each overtime period. The game log checkbox will turn on the ability to log the game time when each statistic is added. See Figure 5.

Figure 4: Adding a Game

The statistics screen will let the user input game data like adding statistics, timeouts, and advancing to the next period. If the game log is turned on, when the user selects ‘+’ next to a statistic, the Game Time screen will pop up and the user can input the game time for that particular statistic input. See Figure 5.

Figure 5: Adding a Statistic

When the user is done with logging game statistics, the statistics can be exported in csv format in three different forms. The statistics can be output by period, as game totals, and as a game log. The game log option will only be available if the game log option was turned on.
